SHIPPING & RETURNS

SHIPPING POLICY

Our standard shipping has a transit time (for the UK) of 2-5 days and is ideal for customers who aren't in a rush to receive their parcels, and with prices starting as low as £1.00, this is the most economical way to receive your items. All shipments are sent with a tracking number that is emailed to you at the point of dispatch.

 

We aim to dispatch all received orders within 1 working day from your order confirmation email. Orders made during exceptional times as could be Christmas, Black Friday, Cyber Monday and big releases may experience partial delays but we will maintain contact with you in this circumstance so that you know the progress of your order.

For orders over £75, we offer standard free shipping within Mainland UK. In the unlikely situation that orders are lost or misdelivered, we will only be able to replace the booster pack(s) or product that was purchased and not the individual cards inside.

Occasionally, due to factors outside of our control, shipments may be delayed. Again, although rare, each circumstance will be judged individually (for example, a customer leaving in an area of significant weather where services are postponed for reasons of safety would be different to a customer whose parcel simply was left at a depot for a few days for no reason) but you will be compensated according to the individual courier company's terms and conditions. We are fair and reasonable and pride ourselves on excellent customer service so rest assured, we will do everything as sellers to maintain that reputation.

 

Our trusted courier partners in the UK are Royal Mail and Parcelforce but we can use UPS when preferred. We cannot guarantee which service your order will be shipped with but we always use the most appropriate shipping method applicable for the items you have ordered.

​​RETURN & EXCHANGE POLICY​

We offer a generous Returns Policy, the full details of which can be found below. Unless otherwise stated, the statutory 14 day return limit is in place.

When returning an item please include your order number or confirmation email so we are able to process your return and please contact us in advance.

​PRE-ORDER CANCELLATIONS
You may cancel a pre-order for a full refund up until the order has shipped, which is usually one day before the official release date (on the day itself for Magic the Gathering). If a pre-order product has fallen in price since you ordered it, we can refund you or issue store credit for the difference, so you get the lower price. This applies up to the point the order is dispatched.



CANCELLED ORDERS
If the item is undamaged, completely unopened and unused in the original wrapping exactly as received, then you may return the item as unwanted for up to 30 days from the date you receive it. If the return is due to your own change of mind, you will be responsible for postage costs and ensuring the item reaches us in the same condition received. Please note that if the item returned does not satisfy these requirements, we will not accept it and no refund will be given.

Fair use applies, customers may return up to 6 items under this policy. Otherwise, 14-day terms will automatically apply. Maximum limit per customer per lifetime of returns under this policy is £150 (inc VAT). If you exceed the limit, we reserve the right to refuse the return. Accepting a return above this limit does not mean we must accept further returns above this limit and we will judge each case on its merits. Fair use also includes but is not limited to one use per household / address. This policy only applies to consumers and not to customers purchasing items for resale.

We also reserve the right not to honour this policy if we feel it is being manipulated, sole interpretation of manipulation to rest with Torque Monkey Ltd (T/A MissGeek.shop). You agree that this is fair and reasonable when returning goods under this provision. 
This policy does not affect your statutory rights. This policy will NOT apply to trading card products including single cards and any other non-sealed products, the normal 14 days statutory returns period will apply here instead. This is due to the volatility of trading card game product market prices.

Refunds will be processed as soon as possible and not later than 28 days after confirming receipt of the items.

Trading card game products include Pokémon, Magic the Gathering, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Lorcana - essentially any game that has booster packs and single cards that fluctuate in price we are classing as a Trading card game product under this policy. 

The enhanced policy will apply primarily to board games and miniature games that are eminently resell-able past their release dates. 

 

DAMAGED OR FAULTY GOODS
If you have received a faulty or damaged item you must inform us within 14 days of receiving the order. We will then offer a suitable resolution at no cost to yourself. We do reserve the right to refuse complaints, or levy suitable charges for issues raised after this period.

Special note: Damaged cards inside blind packed products like Booster packs.
In the event that a particular card is damaged inside a pack, we will only be able to replace the booster pack as being faulty (the product purchased) and not the individual cards inside. In the rare event this happens to you, you could benefit by contacting the manufacturer first for a replacement card, but note that they have no duty to do so.


OTHER RETURNS
In the unlikely event that your item arrives damaged, we made a mistake on your order or your item has suffered a manufacturing fault, then please contact us at hello@missgeek.shop. Most manufacturing faults can be quickly resolved via an email to the manufacturer. If you wish to return an item in these circumstances we will cover the postage costs for your return up to standard shipping.
